Hello! I’m Kristine Hughes, founder of Beech Lane Digital. Based on Long Island, New York, I’ve been in the social media marketing field before social media marketing was a thing. What started out as a side project for me, eventually grew into something much bigger!

With a degree in English and Journalism from the State University of Albany (Go Danes!), I jumped headfirst into the marketing field, assisting real estate brokers with all sorts of marketing tasks. Shortly after, I decided to change careers and pursue a Master’s Degree in Education. I soon found myself a middle/high school English teacher! Teaching was always a passion, but due do a crumbling economy at the time, I had to make other plans. I took a job at a law firm, working in their marketing department where I taught myself everything there was to know about social media and marketing. I also learned how to create a podcast from scratch, helped others with blogging and personal branding, and soon realized that I wanted to help other businesses with their social media presence.

At Beech Lane Digital, I get to combine my love for social media, education and marketing and assist others in achieving their dreams. Watching small businesses grow from 0 followers to hundreds (if not thousands) of engaged followers that turn into clients makes my heart smile!

When I’m not scouring the social media platforms for the latest inspo for my clients, you can find me spending time with my family, playing princess dress-up or Barbies with my five-year-old daughter. I also love spin class, champagne, tacos and to-do lists, in no particular order.
